For the eighth year in a row, the Wayland Junior Warriors are League Champions! Congratulations, swimmers.

Hot news

• Team Picture-- Anna Meliones will be taking the Jr Warriors team picture this Thursday, Feb. 28th. There will be 2 photo times (see schedule below)… if your child can’t make their scheduled time, they are more than welcome to come at the other time. Please have your kids wear their team suits. Photo times are:
  4:30 pm – Ages 5-10
  6:15 pm – Ages 11&up.
  
• Saturday Meet – Our final dual meet of the season is this Saturday, March 1st. We are swimming against Longfellow, a large and very good team. We hope that everyone can join us for what should be an exciting meet! Please sign up for the meet on the bulletin board. As always, we need our usual group of volunteers, so please sign up for that as well. If you haven’t volunteered in some capacity at a meet yet, this is your last chance. Please remember that all families are required to volunteer at one or more meets during the season.
  
• Championships.  Here is a little more information on the Championship meet which is Saturday, March 15th at Boston University Pool (Click for driving directions). The session times are:
  --Age 10&under - 8:00AM arrival; 9:15AM meet start time;
  --Age 11&up - 3PM arrival; 4:15AM meet start time;
  Each session should last approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.
  
• Other Meets--There are going to be some more meets taking place after our season ends. We will not be attending these meets as a team, but if any of you swimmers are interested in swimming in them feel free to sign up. The entries are due right away, so if you are interested, please get registered ASAP. Here is a list of documents with details:

• Swim Bags.  The swim bags are in for almost everyone.  If you ordered one and have not yet picked it up, please check with the lobby monitor at practice.
  
• Parking.  Just a quick reminder to park legally when at the pool.  Please only park in designated parking slots (i.e., those with lines).  When cars make their own spots, it often prevents the buses from pulling in or out.  There is another parking lot a bit past the pool on the left hand side and there are also parking spaces by the Fine Arts Building. The police will be ticketing and/or towing illegally parked cars.
